Staff Administrator

Job Summary:

The Staff Administrator plays a key role in supporting the administrative needs of the organization’s staff members. This position involves overseeing various administrative tasks related to employee records, scheduling, and communication to ensure smooth operations and employee satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
  2. Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation, conducting orientations, and facilitating exit interviews.
  3. Manage employee scheduling and timekeeping systems, ensuring accurate recording of work hours and adherence to company policies.
  4. Assist in coordinating training and development programs for staff members, including scheduling sessions and tracking participation.
  5. Handle employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies, benefits, and other administrative matters.
  6. Support HR initiatives and projects, such as recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement activities.
  7. Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and employee recognition programs.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of administrative tasks.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive employee information and HR-related matters.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the HR manager or senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in HR or personnel management.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and professionalism.
